Maple Ledger was founded in Toronto by a small group of accountants who had spent years working inside larger firms — and kept noticing the same gap. Small business owners were paying for services they didn't quite understand, receiving reports they couldn't easily read, and feeling left out of the financial conversation that shaped their own companies.
We set out to change that. From our first office on King Street West, we've worked with business owners across Ontario and beyond — taking the time to explain what the numbers actually mean, making sure filings are complete and accurate, and helping clients think ahead rather than just react.
Over the years we've served hundreds of small business owners across sectors like professional services, retail, construction, health and wellness, and technology. Each business is different, and we treat it that way.
