How do I know which service is right for my business?
We recommend starting with a short introductory call so we can understand your business size, revenue, and what you're finding most time-consuming or uncertain. From there, we'll suggest the approach that fits your situation — without pressure to take on more than you need right now.
Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?
Yes. While our office is in Toronto, we serve clients across Canada. Our bookkeeping and tax preparation services are fully cloud-based, so most of our work can be done remotely. We hold client meetings via video call and send documents securely online.
What accounting software do you use?
We primarily work with QuickBooks Online and Xero, both of which are widely used by small businesses in Canada. If you're already using another platform, we'll discuss what makes sense during our first conversation.
How does the tax filing process work?
We start by gathering your financial documents — either from your bookkeeping records or directly from you. We then prepare your return, identify applicable deductions and credits, and schedule a review meeting before filing. You see everything before it goes to the CRA.
What's included in the Monthly Bookkeeping service?
The monthly service covers transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliation, tracking of receivables and payables, and preparation of your monthly financial statements — balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow summary. It's designed for businesses with up to 250 transactions per month.
How long does it take to get started?
After our initial conversation, onboarding typically takes three to five business days. We'll set up access to your accounts, go over how we'll communicate, and get your file in order before the first billing cycle begins.
